Personality: Sakura is a happy, kind girl who wants to do her absolute best at everything. She is completely selfless and cares a lot about her comrades, and would do anything to help out, no matter how small it may be. At the beginning she was rather tired, passive, and fell asleep often due to her lack of memories. But as more feathers were returned to her, she gradually strengthened and returned to her former cheerful and active self, growing more independent. Syaoran also stated that even without her memories, Sakura was still a warm human being, and would never change. However, her personality became darker and more "gothic" after the events in Acid Tokyo. Despite the fact she was quieter and smiled less often, her true personality never quite changed.
History: Sakura is the princess of Clow country, the daughter of the former king Clow and younger sister of Touya. As a child she became good friends with Syaoran, the foster child of an archaeologist. She fell in love with him but just before she was going to reveal to him her feelings, a strange force took her to a large ruin and her "heart" took the form of wings. Although she was saved by Syaoran, her feathers scattered as pieces of all her memories. Since they represented her heart, without them she would die. While Sakura was unconcious Syaoran went to the time-space witch, Yuuko, and she granted his wish to save Sakura. Although she didn't present it directly, Sakura payed the same price Syaoran did: her memories of him. Everytime she tries to remember him the thoughts would immediately be erased from her mind. But it soon became apparent that she was falling in love with him again. Together with Fai, Kurogane, and Mokona, they traveled across many worlds in order to retrieve her memories. Sakura also possess unusual good luck as "favored daughter of the gods". Yuuko noted later that this is what let her travel safely throughout the dimensions. However, she later paid her good luck as a price to change the future after foreseeing a tragic event in the world of Infinity. Sakura can also hear the voices of spirits and see ghosts.
